A biking holiday is a good way to learn the terrain of the country you are visiting or even learn some of the foreign language and customs of the new territory. It’s a good way to see how ordinary people live, what they eat and how they spend their free time. Research shows that when people use micargi cruisers to get around in a foreign country as opposed to buses and cars they are more likely and eager to get a true experience of a new culture.
When travelling on a men’s micargi a cyclist is more likely to be in need of interaction with the locals. He or she may even pick up a few new words every time he asks for directions which is always helpful in a foreign culture. Also one gets to travel more remote and unconventional places rather than the tourist paths that are run-of-the-mill, perfectly safe and sometimes boring. Cycling is certainly not for those who want to sunbathe near the pool sipping on martini. And it’s not for those who treat adventures as an unwelcome unpleasant surprise. Cycling is for the bold and brave type that’s not afraid of some physical workout and a lot of smiling and asking directions. Which type are you?
